The battlefields seen from horseback

Take the time to discover the battlefields in a new way: ride around the Newfoundland Park and Hawthorn Crater in Beaumont-Hamel. YOur guide introduces you into the history of the Battle of the Somme, the challenges for the cavalry and the necessity of the presence of horses. Your ride will also lead you to some famous places fimed in 1916, that are part of the film "The battle of the Somme". Julia and Julie or Laurent, your riding instructors, are constantly with you. Riding experience is necessary for this tour, but you can also book a carriage transport.
